Heritage Lottery Fund
A steering group has been formed for the Heritage Lottery Fund, the role of this group is to shape the development of the Stage Two HLF Bid. Membership of the group is made up of a range of stakeholders, including South Lanarkshire Council Officers, and an external consultant - who will develop the technical brief of work required, and 5 representatives from the FOCP Group. The steering group has already committed itself to keeping the wider community involved and informed as the bid and works progress .Key tasks over the coming month will be to develop detailed designs, detailed costing of all proposed work, development of a training plan, a volunteer plan and audience development. There are emerging opportunities around community engagement, development of the bandstand and its use in the future. Play area development. Interpretation and Signage. Planting etc. Sub groups and leads have been identified to drive forward activity aiming for a September submission of a fully developed Stage Two bid.
