Sunday Service in the Park

On Sunday 2nd September 2007 an inter-church service was held at the Preaching Braes to commemorate the ‘ Wark’ of 1742.

After being approached by Changing Places with the idea of a joint service, Rev. Eileen Roass from Trinity St Paul’s Church coordinated the service with her colleagues Brian Graham from the Baptist Church, John Entwistle, representing St Cadoc’s Church and Patsy Eaton, St Cuthbert’s Episcopal Church.

Everyone who came along to the event said it was in such a peaceful setting in the Park and it was nice to have all the churches together to commemorate such a vital piece of Cambuslang History.
